Mark my words: Brook will fight for an 'interim' version of the world title if he goes down the WBO route. The WBO's jokefest know Pacquiao as a titlist is good advertisement for them and they also know that they will get more money out of sanctioning fees for two seperate titlists. I'm not saying it's right, but it's what will most probably happen:-(.

It wouldn't surprise me, but a match between him and Clottey or Cotto isn't out of the question. I reckon he could possibly beat both right now!

The WBO really need to stop granting Warren fighters bogus title shots. They de-legitimise themselves. Brook, Mitchell, Jennings, Lockett etc

You don't think Mitchell deserves a high ranking after beating Prescott? unless you mean when he was fighting at super feather?

I never considered them legitimate in the first place.

Going from outclassing domestic level fighters to fighting top 5 world fighters is quite a big leap to say the least. I would like to see him in a testing fight before he moves on to fight the best in the world. Beat the bum he is fighting next out, then Bonsu a good Euro level fighter, then a top 20 guy like Alfonso Gomez - if he gets by this then he could be ready for a world title shot.

there are several levels between where he is now and where he needs to be before getting a world title shot (and having a chance of winning).

jennings will be a step up if it ever happens. his next scheduled opponent possibly isn't.

Yeah he could beat Cotto and Clottey because he looks good against bums. What a great basis for comparison, Cotto and Clottey against each other and Cotto against Pacquiao versis Brook against Stuart Elwell.

Brook has a lot of developing to do, he needs a progression not to be thrown in with the lions after fighting the softest opposition of any British champion.

He should fight someone like Castillo before challenging for a world title.

The WBO bekt does not count as being a world title. Pac will drop it.
