Brook v Canelo

Brook is a big Welter and this is actually a good fight. I would favor Canelo but not by much.

 

Really tough one. Would slightly edge towards Brook but probably being a bit biased. Both have a similar style but I'd say Brook is slightly better on the back foot and Canelo is slightly better on the front foot.

I reckon it would be a close points decision either way.

 

Big issue is can canelo make 154lbs to stage the fight

 

great fight as stevie said assumin Canelo makes 154 a complete pick 'em fight .... right now i couldnt choose a winner between them. Not a fight i expect to see tho tbh...shame

 

I would have Alvarez as slight fav going into this. There was talk a couple of years back about Brook eventually moving up to light middleweight and I don't see any reason why he can't compete a world level if he did.

 

Would fancy Brook to beat him in close fight. Brook certainly done a better job on Mathew Hatton that Alvarez. Strangely i thought to myself this morning what a great fight this would be.

Canelo has a giant watermelon of a head and I can see Brook really hurting his hands in this one...
