    Here are the facts:

While Chaves is arguable a tougher fight than Rios that point is actually irrelevant. Brook should and would be expected to beat both. However, having Rios on his resume (as well as Porter) would help give him an in to a bigger fight on better terms. Chaves does nothing for Brook. He is decent but has not drawing power. It is a division completely based in the USA (not nationality, just where all the fights are) so Brook has to make an impact over there.

Hearn won't put his hands in his pocket to get anyone better over. He wouldn't pay Rios so what chance does he have of getting anyone else. To be fair it would cost a few quid and it might end up losing money on the promotion but that is the risk that needs to be taken. ****** might have done it but Hearn won't and never has done.

The only viable option for Brook is to fight in America and to try and get one more big win. Having already beat Porter plus one of Bradley, Marquez, Thurman, Garcia, Provodinov, Broner etc. would put him in the driving seat for a top opponent/pay day (Mayweather, Pacquiao or even force Khan's hand) and the chance to fight on his own terms going forward.

At the moment, Hearn is milking him and Brook is milking his title. Its time to wake up and realise that this isn't even 2000 anymore and having one of the four belts doesn't mean anything. No one cares. He has actually got the ability to give any of the top guys a good fight and I would pick him in the majority of those contests. BUT he has to take another risk and base himself in the states. at least temporarily. Hearn (maybe can but) won't even try to compete with the US paymasters. The concerning thing is that Brook is happy to settle for his lot. Not a massive fan of Hatton (and he did duck Witter) but he wanted to better himself and forced the fights with Tszyu and Mayweather. Don't see that drive from Kell.....yet. The clock is ticking.

    Good post :good

The only reason behind the bold could be, in my opinion, he is not confident enough. Not willing to come out of comfort zone. Not willing to take risk. Thus, not a champ material. And I wasn't impressed with his Porter win either. A clinching content MD victory.

Chaves has a draw with Bradley in his last fight and yet Khan fans have the cheek to say he isn't a worthy opponent? I suppose Kell should drag up a LWW like Algieri instead?

FW stole money from fighters. Would you prefer Hearn ran loss-making events and resorted to doing that as well?

This is a business, not a charity.

    Agreed, and well said. :good

All I see from Kell is him calling out Amir. Newsflash: It's not happening... yet.

Besides, it's just ANOTHER domestic clash that Eddie will milk (make 50/50 non-domestic fights, man!).

I've said for a while now brook needs to **** Eddie Hearn off.

He should take a leaf out of khans book and relocate over to the states and sign with someone else.

I'm a massive brook fan and it frustrates the **** out of me hearing about these poor match ups from Hearn. As said before he is milking special K

Doesn't every boxer dream of fighting a kickboxer on Spike TV in front of a crowd that are there because they were given free tickets???

Definitely wouldn't follow what khan has done. That's not good example.

Kell needs to put some heat on Eddie though. Hearn always mentions that kell has told him to make the thurman fight etc etc. The will from from kell to fight is their, he just struggling to get these fights.

Rios fighting Bradley is a prime example. Yes its easier for Rios as he is also with top rank but that really is a fight kell should be involved in instead of Rios.

Chaves is fighting Alexander in an IBF eliminator so he could well be mandated soon anyway.

Kell has to go on the road, fight Bradley in the US.
