WELL WELL WELL, what a suprise! Kell Brook as predicted will NEVER fight anybody with a pulse UNTIL he gets that KHAN PAYDAY. Him and Hearn need to fu ck off thinking this is a ppv event, what a total farce. 33 Tomato cans in 10 years, and you brookta rds thought he'd step up lmao! Utter sh ite, I can't stand that tranny sounding mug.
Again no defending but the IBF ratings are pretty poor tbh 1. Dan Ion- Just Beat 2. Not Rated 3. Timothy Bradley- Coming off a draw and a loss 4. Amir Khan- Fighting Algeri 5. Frankie Gavin 6. Shawn Porter- Just Beat Him 7. Diego Chaves- Coming off a draw and a loss 8. Devon Alexander- Coming off a loss 9. Sadam Ali- Dangerous ex-Olympian who's unknown in UK- wouldn't sell to casuals in UK. High Risk/Low Reward (Similar to Bradley vs Witter?) 10. Kevin Bizier- Lost to Dan twice who Brook demolished 11. Antonin Decairie- Lost everytime he's stepped up 12. Fredrick Lawson- Unknown commodity with high KO percentage 13. Chris Van Heerden- Decent South African, not really known over in UK, best win is arguably Matthew Hatton/Lujan? (would have liked to have seen the Gavin fight that was supposed to have happened) 14. Josesito Lopez- Just Lost to Berto 15. Yoshihiro Kamegai- Just lost to Gomez Guessing Berto and Gomez move in because of their wins. Surprised Berto wasn't picked- big name who is vulnerable, but guessing he'd be too much money? Would have liked to have seen Bradley possibly, but the top 15 isn't pleasant reading!
Bare in mind haters that this is on May 30th, 2 months after Brook's last fight and he also plans to fight on July 13th. 3 bouts in 4 months and he gets hated on. Plus Gavin is a lot better than you give him credit for. But it this way, Gavin would push Adrien Broner's **** in. And the undercard is stacked- Gradovich v Selby, Mitchell v Linares, Joshua v Johnson.
:good Plus people need to bare in mind you can't have a madatory defence against someone coming off a loss.
Im not sure. It should not be ppv but the undercard is strong with lots of supported fighters in the uk. Mitchell, Joshua will have big London support, kell the shefield mob and Gavin Birmingham fans so tickets will sell. Lots might see buying it than travelling down to London the cheaper option??
Gavin is the highest rated opponent by the IBF currently available. He just beat Dan, Bradley's fighting Bundrage I believe, Khan won't fight him. Gavin next in line.
I'm not really sure Brook is famous enough in England to successfully headline a PPV card. You would know better though.
