    Read. Weep:

Let me give you a full explanation and see what you disagree with.

    1. Gavin is ranked higher at Welterweight (15) than Guerrero (16) Ortiz (51!) and Berto (20) according to Boxrec, and I know it's not a good source for rankings but let's be honest he belongs above Ortiz and Berto at least

    2. If you think Al Haymon would let Thurman come to the UK at this amount of notice, whether Thurman wanted to or not, baring in mind what Brook did to Porter. You don't know **** about Al Haymon.

    3. For Brook this is a mandate defense as he plans to make a voluntary on July 13th against either Marquez or Rios. The fighters you mentioned aren't currently ranked by the IBF so would be classed as voluntary. If Brook takes that, it's unlikely that the IBF would allow him to take another voluntary on July 13th.

    4. If he sat out until July, he would still HAVE to fight Gavin most likely anyway, being the ones ranked ahead of him are, Dan- who's he's already beat, Bradley who appears to be moving up, and Khan who won;t fight him, after that Gavin is the next ranked.

    5. You say Gavin is not known, but this is a UK PPV event and he's more known in the UK than anyone you mentioned.

So is it really that bad of fight? :think

It's not that bad, but it's definitely not a fight to write home about.

    OK so what's better.

In the space of 104 days fighting Dan, Gavin and Rios

In the space of 104 days fighting just Dan and Rios

He wasn't even suppose to be fighting and he's getting another mando out of the way because he WOULD HAVE TO FACE Gavin after Rios anyway, and that would probably be his lot until late 15/ early 16. By fighting Gavin now it gives him to chance to face another voluntary after Rios which I'm sure he would target Khan again or Marquez

And you do know right, Khan was offered the fight on July 13th and refused?

So I ask you again, given the facts that you seem to struggle with. Is it really that bad of fight. :think

But why are people hating on it when he's doing it for logical reason. He's getting Gavin out of the way now in super quick time, so he doesn't have to fight him AFTER he fights on July 13th (which he would be ordered to do)

Dont bother ****ing fighting Rios or Gavin fight Bradley instead in the summer or try and fight Thurman or give Porter a rematch. Chavez Gurrero and even berto are all ahead of Gavin all that lad did was lose to European level Bundu and couldnt even beat domestic Skeete.Throw one of them on this card at least theve beaten someobody decent once in there careers.

Bradley would surely take that fight, hes already fought Pacquio twice this is a world title shot.

What do you not understand that he would have to fight Gavin at some point anyway or lose his title. You think without a title Bob Arum or Al Haymon will put their fighters in with someone as risky Brook when they have huge stables in the division. You think the likes of Marquez being intrested in the fight has nothing to do with him wanting to win a world title?

You just 'assume' everyone you said is going to take a fight in England at 6 weeks notice too:

    1. Bradley is not available he moving up to fight Bundrage. Bradley & his promoters will see that as a more winnable fight

    2. You think Al Haymon is going to allow Thurman to come to the UK and fight Brook, just like that. Voluntary has to fight Gavin after anyway

    3. Berto! Get real and you complain about Rios and Gavin:lol:. That would be a voluntary defense too and he would have to fight Gavin after anyway.

    4. Guerrero coming off a loss, Not ranked by IBF voluntary, would have to fight Gavin anyway.

    5. Porter got schooled, and has done noting since to warrant a rematch.

    6. Chavez- would be voluntary would have to fight Gavin after anyway. Also bare in mind they are trying to sell this fight on PPV, I bet the amount of people who have heard who Chaves is in the UK are in about 4 figures

So I ask you again. Is it that bad of fight, and please actually read this time before ****ping on the fight

Its not the worst really since he's trying to squezze in a few fights in a short space of time but Hearn sure as **** doesnt want him losing until he fights Khan.

    1) The card wasn't PPV before this fight. Ridiculous!
    2) Gavin's last opponent was ranked 446th in the world. Prior to that he basically lost to Bradley Skeete.

So, yeah, it really is that bad of a fight.

Gavin was ment to be in an eliminator with Bradley so if Brook didnt take the fight Gavin would be taking a loss so he wouldnt be mandatory.

Im saying try Bradley Thurman Porter for later on, now right now theres no need to fight a Gavin.

Chavez could have been gotten in the 6 week notice according to hearn but he wanted to do Gavin. Im guessing people like berto would go for that too there are plenty better than Gavin.

Your making good points and fiancially it makes sense but you cant expect people to be happy with a Gavin fight under any circumstances. Hearn has just manufactured all these problems and reasons why it makes sense aswell.

Bradley did not turn down the elimantor with Khan so are you sure he would not fight Brook?

    Brooks resume
35 fights, and only one decent fight. Pathetic! :rofl Brook is really unsure of himself.
