Hearn couldn't secure Thurman. KT fought RG in March and got injured, thus ruling out any chance of Brook-Thurman bout in June (highly unlikely anyway).

As for JMM, he hasn't fought since May last year and is still recovering from knee surgery, so that fight was a non-starter.

Rios may have been possible, and it may be that Kell fights him next.

Personally, I believe it will be Chaves or Bradley as Tim will be the IBFs mandatory (Tim is fighting Vargas at the end of June, but should comfortably beat him).

Brook got his first mandatory out of the way (yeah, I agree, Dan as the IBF's number 1 contender was a joke, but that's not Kell's fault, and he had to fight his mandatory once out of the two fights).

If Amir had of took the Brook fight, we wouldn't be talking about Frankie (Amir choosing to fight Algieri isn't down to kell).

Where does Gavin get this reputation of not being a puncher though?

I always thought of him as a slick puncher.

Sure he faced some big/tough guys Bundu and Super Skeete in recent times.

I may be over insinuating it by saying Gavin should be every option and that he's gonna KO Brook.. who knows.

I always thought of him as a punch arteeist.

i don't mind the two fights much coming of the injury he had and after going out and winning the belt in America, but ppv on this fight is a no no and needs to step up again after frankie.

I don't really think it's ppv worthy in all honesty, tonight's card is equally as good and it's covered on sky sports subscription. Should be a good night of boxing though so I'm not too bothered about paying it.

Tonight's card is a awful mate, all we have had is complete mismatches. Sky need to sort it out.
