i dont like either 1 of these 2, they look great against limited british level opposition but when they finally get there chance against a fighter of world class abilities there in for a nasty shock

how can you say that mate, you can only beat whats in front of you....lets see how brook does in his next fight.....

its a bit early to write the two off just yet.....

gavin is a great prospect, but i think brook is 2 years ahead in pro terms......

gavin may well catch up and overtake brook with his pedigree.

brook may have the edge at this point, but the more i think about it the more i fancy gavin to win.

In 12 months time, gavin, easy,i think brook will be beaten soon when he stops up in class though

Bit early for Gavin, Brooks should win at this stage, but Gavin will surpass him in the next 12 months easy. Gavin is very talented, he'd give a very good account of himself now against him.

I think it would be a boring fight like a game of chess I fancy my chances but what's something comes up at light welter I will grab it with both hands my future lies at light welter IMO

I guess commonsense has gone out the window regardless of Frankie Gavin’s future potential.

    *******s here.

Gavin for me. Brook is smoke and mirrors.

I can't believe this thread is so one sided.

I'd like to see someone tell me how Brook can get the better of Gavin.

Sure he can whack a bit.... but against fighters that have learned the Leeds Utd defence. Against Lomax Gavin seemed to know what was coming before punches were even thrown, obviously Brook is superior but that's his 2nd best win.... a ten fight relative novice did just as good a job as a six year pro.

I think Kell will have his hands full with N'Dou, alright he'll probably win but it won't be pretty and he's no chance of a stoppage..... it's a shame Warren didn't get this fight made before Brook went to Matchroom.

Tyson Fury taking on McDermott within 9 months is a more extreme example of this.

Terry O'Connor’s result was justified ultimately.
