Khan got zero credit on here for stepping up to take on Canelo; why'd do you expect the same?

In any case fair play to Brook, shocked he's taken this but everyone avoiding him so really had no choice

    Jst seen on sky

"Dealing with Eubank snr for 3 weeks it felt like 3 year, they had a deadline last night, they missed it...... I phoned Kell Brook and he took the fight"

    - Eddie Hearn

Apparently Brook got offered the same contract that Eubank Snr turned down

That's Eubank Jr off Sky after his contract is up then- unless Brook beats GGG.

Can't see Sky/Hearn bothering with Sr anymore- his son will be fighting on Dave at this rate.

Listen the phone call with IFLTV

Eubank Snr and his demands are out of control. How they even thought Eddie Hearn would agree to that I don't know.

I think brook will stay at 154lbs regardless. Will be surprised if he goes back down to 147lbs. Will take a huge fight and a lot of money I think.

If he loses but performs well he should get some more credit in the states.

Seriously when Eubank Jr boxes Lee Markham next I hope everyone leaves the Arena in protest.

    Different scenarios.

Khan had already lost several times and kissed the canvas several more times. He's also got a legion of muslim fans who know nothing about boxing who ensure his name and earning power will never fade.

Brook is risking an unbeaten record and potentially setting back his earning power for the rest of his career.

Khan was cashing out. Brook is taking a laudable risk.

Brook allowed to box 2 weights above the welter limit and still retains the ibf strap having not made a defence in ages and yet fury got stripped straight away....

Nope that's not true at all. Brook has had two IBF mando fights.

What are you on. Amir Khan's drawing power was nothing to do with his muslim fanbase? If amir Khan had all these muslim fans that bought tickets he would selling out arena's over here no problem.

Khan manages to stay relevant in the states simply because they like the fact that his in entertaining fights.

Fury was asked to make his mandatory and refused. Kell fought his mandatory.

Don't see what the problem is here.
