It's all about timing, fury had signed a contract saying he'd fight the ibf mando but also rematch klitschko... had brook took this fight near march time instead of fighting his mando he would lose his title...

 

I am totally aware of mando rules. It still stinks to me

 

Plus they've all been absolutely pointless defences.

 

I really dont see the issue, the rules are being followed, whats wrong with that? If kell doesn't come back down im sure they'll strip him. It was just an unfortunate thing that happened to fury but once again all the ibf did was follow there rules.. maybe pointless defences but 2 of 3 were mandos

Fair play to brook just listened to him on talk sport seemed delighted about getting fight seemed eager. Brook s****ed by with a massive scare against Carson Jones and he will also be powerfull at 160 i reckon hes in top shape but cant see him surviving against GGG he will get broke down in a calculated and controlled manner and then stopped big middle to late rounds in my opinion

On paper, it's a fantastic fight.

Arguably the best welter in the world against the best middle in the world.

This is MILES better than Khan/Canelo.

I'm a Brook/Hearn hater, but I'm going back on my stance now that this has been made.

I like Brook but thers no way he can even be suggested as the best welter in the world with one gd opponent on his resume and goin by how he struggled with Carson Jones aswell .GGG will break him down and blow him away middle to late rounds IMO .
Boxing is ****ed up and even tho Kell is a massive welter ther is weight classes for a reason
