1. Fight SHOULD have been at a CW. Brook rehydrates to 165 on fightnight from 147, so we can only assume he'll actually be the BIGGER, yet less resilient man on the night. That said, his power won't likely trouble GGG and his spoiling won't be as effective vs a man his size. Brook should have fought for a 155-157 CW since GGG was afterall, willing to accept it v Canelo or even 154 vs Floyd. 2. The book is still out on who the best WW is. Yes, Porter just redeemed himself with a win over Thurman, I mean, Thurman does have wins over Guerrero and a gift v Porter, but with the gift v Porter it does even out his resume with Brook. Pacqioua is officially retired. Mayweather as well, so, could be Brook is aiming to claim that spot, even after a loss. Hopefully, he still has his faculties. 3. This fight could well lure Mayweather into the MW division, if only at 154.1. He's never had the right to claim conquering it, and it would be HUGE money and EASY to make since GGG would easily take 15-20% knowing he'd likely rake in 20+mil. 4. Brook is sending out a message to American and British fightfans that taking risky fights doesnt need to be a career defining payday. Sure, he's likely gonna make 3 mil or so for the fight, but he could make 5 v Khan. 5. Props to Brook. Ppl talking that smack bout him holding off on the Vargas fight. Well fukk.....now we know why. 6. Vargas can hand Brook his WBO title when he comes back to WW or the LMW can officially take notice. SPECIAL K is ON the WAY. :good:good:good
**** that catchweight bull****. If you want to move up and fight for a title you have to move up all the way. Props to Brook for not being a Mayweather and demanding a catchweight
Brook said he is much better fighter at a higher weight, such as 160, 147 is too light for him......................so..............he is a natural welterweight, thus according to Brook......................
wow canelo looks like a big time coward for not going up to 160. props to brook for taking this fight!
