Never thought about that side of it,mate.Must have been disappointing for you.Guess it'd soften the blow a bit if Lee got the shot, even though I personally don't give him much chance at all.Hope you have a good trip.
Cheers Ted. Aye this trip which originally started as a cheapo flight to detroit has turned into a right farce but I suppose its been a lot worse for the promoters and fighters. Just one of the hazards of booking to see fights abroad I guess but at least this time we have the Peterson v Matthysse fight rather than Smith V Bundrage! Planning to go to a MLB game in Philly and do a fair few other stuff as well so should still be a good laugh..
My word brook looked so gutted on ringside. And Selby looks like a class boxer. Love hes showboating.
FFS :-( I can't really believe this....Having said that I hope Purdy steps up and takes his chance, its likely to be his one and only opportunity
The fact that he lost his title doesn't mean he's not 'British (domestic) level'. To suggest otherwise would be absurd.
So only the British Champion is at "British Level"?....You can be a completely petulant and argumentative **** sometimes Rob
Plain and simply this. I also do wonder how ready to take risks Brook is. I don't know but he doesn't strike me as the type who could 'take' the thought of losing.
that doesn't even make sense. since when has what clothes you wear affected how tough you are? only a wannabe gangster would think like that in the first place.
