Its true. I kinda understand hes got a mandotary shot in febuary why the **** would you take a major risk and fight the Bertos and OrtiZ's of this world. Im not a big fan of this fight but its understandable.

If Eddie said we're taking baby steps with Kell and this is a slight step up, I'd be fine with it. But he's come out acting like Brook is facing a huge superstar name who will push him to the brink.

It's a **** fight, anybody claiming any different is either deluded, part of Matchroom or USA Rob.

I guess Hearn felt Julio Diaz was too dangerous at this stage

Brook holds the FEBO (Final eliminator boxing organisation) belt, multiple times. :D

Will go down in history. There is NO blueprint!

I'm nobodies cheerleader pal the fact is the guy was majorly concerned by the cuts against Paulie otherwise I've no doubt he'd have won, he showed against Ricky how good he his.Try watching and reading fights without your blindfold on mate

He is fighting a big name, the guy who beat the most popular UK fighter of last decade, in his comeback.

How can a guy be a big name that nobdoy had heard of before he fought hatton. He's known in the UK because of it... worldwide... no. Do you think any of the current champs will think woahh kells fighting senchenko, thats a good test.. theyl think fighting a nobody yet again. Hes only known in the US because he lost to paulie, thats not a good thing lol

I didn't watch the paulie fight so i can't comment really.. but on the hatton fight.. i mean come on, he was losing to an old faded ricky, whos timing was off, he was wild yet still beating senchenko lol. Fair doos he found the punch to KO hatton but technically hes average and will not pose a test to kell IMO. Hes a slow starter, kells a quick starter... this spells early KO IMO

Not complaining think it's a decent competitive fight . Atleast a step in the right direction for Brook .Hopefully we get a decent undercard as well .

This. Why risk your mandatory spot when you can fight a decent name (To the general public anyway) at home, get a decent payday and all going to plan a comfortable win?

Like everyone has said Kell hasnt exactly fought any top names in the past so why jump straight in with the top names in the division? Why would a top name fight Kell? He isnt a huge name in the states is is a dangerous fight to take. Of the guys who would be willing to travel to Sheffield its about as good a job as Hearn could do.

Senchenko won his world title against the great Nuzhnenko. He was no more then a paper champ who's beaten nobody. He lost every round & got stopped by Malignaggi. His best win was against a shot to pieces over the hill shell of himself Hatton. This is a step down from C Jones.

I just watched Hatton Senchenko and tbh even a shot Hatton to me looks way better than Carson Jones I think .
