Brook vs Chaves rumors.

    I like this fight, Brook completely *****ed out against a worn out out of his prime but credible fighter in Rios, but if he's taking this fight it'll be completely excused, I had Chaves beating Rios clearly. Rios ended up fighting a guy with a resume a billion time better so respect to him too, so even if you don't believe Rios saying Brook has a million demands and there's way more to it than brook/hearn are saying you have to respect him for taking a tougher fight.
    These are the fights Brook should be taking. We'll see how Brook's power compares to Thurman, will Brook be able to get Chaves out of there, or will his power be exposed as overrated? A UD win over Chaves still will be a good win though.
    Let's hope Brook continues down this path, of course if the rumors aren't true and he ends up fighting Van Heerden or a Bundu type guy everyone should completely **** and laugh at what a joke Brook is.

    Typical yank logic. Brook schooled your boy Porter.

    He is now the only champion in the division alongside Mayweather. I hope Thurman and Brook fight, as another yank hype job will get exposed.

    Chaves is pretty skilled. Although I had Bradley winning 7 rounds(most people had it wider), it was still a competitive fight. This is a decent fight. It's a fight I'd look foward to.

    he's not only tough as nails the guy is extremely crafty with cheap tactics and he's a good boxer. if brook blows him out like 10-2 in a non competitive bout that would be incredibly impressive.

    Got you ..So I should expect a rough fight for Brook but then again I expected the same with Porter and he handled him quite well

    Chaves is a different kind of dirty. Porter's has D level boxing skills, but he charges in with rugby like tactics, and then rabbit punches, or punches whatever he can. Since Brook nullified that Porter was left with nothing. Chaves on the other hand will poke your eyes etc, and do dirty **** which his style doesn't rely on.

    I really enjoy watching Chaves fight. I thought he beat Tim Bradley. I thought he was beating Rios until a questionable call (or several) by the ref. The only guy who I thought beat him straight up was Thurman.

    Chaves is a legit contender for anyone at welterweight.

    I'd love to see Brook fight him.

    Good matchup.

    I had Chaves losing 7-5, but the fight was much closer than people made it out to be in my opinion.

    Not sure what this guy is saying. But I have heard he has a bad reputation on the forum, and that most people have blocked him for being some american racist with zero boxing knowledge.

    isn't chavez fighting alexander for an ibf final eliminator? either would be a good opponent for brook but can't see that happening until next year assuming that eliminators going ahead.
