Fight of the year for sure, a total war between two elite fighters.

Props to Brook for moving up and daring to be great, GGG proved he is a total monster. Both fighters have iron chins.

GGG to dominate 160-168, Brook to dominate 147-154.

I'm a huge fan of Brook (being a Brit) and GGG continues to impress me. Plus the fight was more back and forth than I expected. But let's not kid ourselves. Brook was always fighting an uphill battle and it was only going to end one way. It was no Hagler Hearns.

    LOL!

Brook landed 2 uppercuts, a biggish right hand, and some partially blocked flurries and it was a war?

    LOL!

You're correct of course it was no Hagler Hearns, but that fight was also always going to end only one way.

So GGG will be remembered for going life and death a run of the mill welter weight? Ok.

Anthony Crolla vs Linares is the one to watch for fight of the year.

War? That's like comparing World War I to the invasion of Grenada.

While I think you are going over the top with the Hagler-Hearns stuff and Fight Of The Year, I don't think your points are without merit.

I think GGG's win will look much better when both careers are all said and done, as I think you are right that Brook beats all at 147-154 and GGG beats all at 160-168.

I thought before the fight on Sat that these where two special fighters and nothing I saw which occurred in the ring made me change my mind.

Didn't seem all that different than GGG vs Willie Monroe to me.
