Eubank sr probably had his doubts about his son vs GGG, he can't let his son know that though. He knew GGG might wreck his son.
Because they knew ggg was overrated and thought they could expose him, too bad he was just too small and couldn't finish the job.
It's all on this video. Very insightful This content is protected Eubank blew the opportunity of a lifetime and for the last 4 years has been on the outside looking for a way back in into relevancy.
I agree HORRIBLE fight to take and unnecessary. I also feel he wanted to match what Khan did fighting Canelo but Brook gave up more weight to GGG then Khan did to Canelo. Khan and Canelo fought at a catchweight of 155
I think it was a stupid because you have to ask how much money did he make in that fight? Was the risk reward scenario correct? I don’t think so because it compromised his career on several levels at a time when he was in my opinion the best Welterweight in the world.
Eubank has enough celebrity profile to get any 'big fight' he wants. Plus he is a Haymon fighter so he can cross the street freely, without even looking both ways if we being totally honest. There have been plenty of big fights for him at both 160-168 for the last couple of years, but he does not smoke wit no real livewires types of opponents
That's not what happened. Snr's more deluded than Jnr. It was his ego that cost his son the fight. Snr wasn't concerned about GG. He truly believed that Jnr had the potential to be better than Floyd.
