If GGG is suffering some kind of malady, a guy like Brook is just the sort to pull off the upset. Other than that chance, Kell is getting hammered.

80-20 for Golovkin. That's about right but from what I've read on this forum there seems to be more than that backing Brook. Vote in the poll.

i think GGG wins, but as I posted in my first post here, Brook needs to get in and get out, mostly in. Throw uppercuts(what he always does). GGG is succeptable to uppercuts . Uppercuts and body work and don't back up. If GGG gets you on the end of his punches, if will be a short or long painful night. Either way, Brook gets hit too much for me to pick him

I'm hoping GGG wins and looks great doing it, i'm a big fan.

I've recently started to have some doubts that it will play out like that, because:

Brook has transitioned well to the weight, he looks great very strong and sharp.
Brook is displaying great confidence and eagerness, he is truly enjoying this opportunity as if he has nothing to lose.
Brook is compact and fast, it may be hard for GGG to work that body, its a small target and his toughest fight was against a shorter man in Kassim Ouma.

GGG doesn't look healthy, he isn't himself. I'm not sure if this is real or perhaps he has been instructed to downplay his enthusiasm to give fans a little more interest in this being a competitive fight.

I've competed in weight classes my whole life, I don't dismiss Brook because he has been fighting at 147, some guys are animals, and when I look at brook I see it. Not everyone can step up in weight, but don't fool yourself by thinking nobody can.

I can see a Leonard/Hagler playing out here, People expect to see GGG Knocking out Brook, when people expect a mismatch, and see Brook doing better than expected - HE WILL WIN ROUNDS! If Brook can be elusive and avoid damage, and If GGG isn't 100%, we may see Brook take a very controversial decision, where he maybe didn't win the fight, but won the battle of expectations.

If GGG is healthy : KO/TKO before the seventh round ; if he is not healthy KO/TKO about tenth round.

Some niggling doubts have crept into my head as well for the reasons you've mentioned. However, not enough to shake my confidence in a Golovkin KO victory. Even if GGG isn't functioning at full capacity, I still can't see a way for Brook to win the fight. He's not that elusive and he won't be able to handle the power.

Get your votes in. I want a definitive list of who picked who so there can be no retrospective excusing.
