Bold. Can't see it myself in a million years. What's your thinking behind that? Golovkin's never tasted the canvas in 375 fights, amateur and pro.
ggg in 7, right after brook has the temerity to land a good one on ggg's face. if anyone here is going to the fight, please record the crowd reaction the second they realize brook is helpless.
Haha, I'm trolling dude. I do have an incline Brook is a special fighter though and just needs a chance to prove it- the only issue is, I think Golovkin is one too. I think I'd pick Brook over literally anyone else under 160 though, so if anyone can give GGG a fight it's Brook IMO
....or when they start chanting 'easy!, easy!. easy!' when Brook is in the process of giving him a schooling
The Hearn/Sky propaganda machine's went into overdrive for this one. The casual British boxing fans are in for a very rude awakening. It could go longer but I've got Golovkin in 5 because Khan took Canelo 6. Think GGG might want to make a point.
Don't think they are in for that rude of an awakening- it's been pretty well established from the get-go Brook is significantly up against it.
Ha ha! You never know. It's nice to be nice so I didn't want to immediately brand you as a moron. Now I know you've got more sense. Don't know about your picking Brook over anyone else at middleweight though. He looks healthy at the weight but he's completely untested up there. I'd fancy quite a few of the top 160-pounders to beat him.
Just going by the conversations I've had with friends, colleagues, et al. They all seem to have really bought into Hearn's hype.
I think Brook would've moved up years back if circumstances was different so I think the weight is being a bit over discussed. Bare in mind he was mandatory for Pacquiao for a long time but the WBO was never gonna force it, then he took the IBF route but got injured so got delayed about two years before he eventually got his crack. Back then all the big names was at Welterweight and they thought they could lure Khan into a fight at Wembley, with a KO making a big enough noise on both sides of the pond to turn Brook into a big name star, but it didn't go according to plan.
In fairness, I think Hearn generally believes Brook can make a fight of it. He tends to shy away from hyping things up when he thinks his mans got no chance (i.e Paul Smith v Andre Ward) but I think he reckons Kell is a top class fighter
i could see that. i think a lot of people are going to be shocked at the difference in strength between natural size and gym size. watch how easily ggg muscles him around and positions him where he wants him. brook has a tiny little core, looks like he has a 28" waist. a mw with ggg's power will turn that core to dog food. if brook should prove me full of it, i'll be back to eat my crow.
