Let us be honest ESB. Nobody complained about Krusher facing his mandatory in a half empty arena in Vegas. It was never uttered as a bad fight. Special K fought his mando in a sold out arena in Sheffeild and every one jumped on his case and continues to bash his opponent choices.

Why the double standard and hypocrisy everyone?
Can we ever be consistent or is bias important?

Everyone is going to have bad fights; with that said, only people with agendas are going to complain inconsistently. Brook has had terrible fights and according to some, because he doesn't call himself TBE, he doesn't deserve any criticism :nut

I think because there were other fighters WILLING to fight Brook, and Dan didnt win any eliminators, creates more of an uproar than nobody 1-10 at LHW was WILLING to face Kovalev, and Mohammedi was actually BHops mandatory before he was Kovalevs.

The IBF had been calling for Mohameddi to get the title fight for almost 2 yrs.

    They woudlve stripped Kovalev.

Brook had just won his title, and the IBF couldnt care less if he'd stepped over Dan for a couple defenses. :think

Wrong. Dan won a final eliminator against Bizier, after Bundu pulled out and decided he wanted to fight Thurman instead of Brook (less chance of being KO)

Brook was out for a while after being stabbed and would've been stripped if he hadn't defended the title by the end of April- just one month after he actually did.

Plus you say all these top 10 guys are willing to fight Brook, here is a list of fighters that pulled out of a chance of fighting a final eliminator to face him- Leonard Bundu, Amir Khan, Tim Bradley, Shawn Porter, Kevin Bizier and Sadam Ali up to now.

But Mayweather can pick and choose who he fights. Everyone will accept.

Do you think if Brook didn't have a belt Haymon or Arum would let their fighter anywhere near him. They basically son't want any now.

And you do know Brook has put his name in the hat to fight Mayweather, Pacquiao, Khan and Marquez, not of which have accepted (yet). Mayweather has a choice of fighters and picks Berto.

Yes. The IBF is especially strict and you HAVE to be in the top 15 and CANNOT be coming off a loss for a title fight, without special permission being sought and that takes several weeks

My point still stands. No one is happy with Floyd picking Berto, so what's your point?

    Both were IBF mando's
Nobody can complain about those fights.

I didn't have a problem with the Dan fight but I did bash him for fighting Gavin...

So you think Brook should have forfeited his title instead?

What type of opponents do you think he'd be able to lure into the ring then?

Brook fights who he needs to fight. Mayweather fights who he wants.

He wasn't even suppose to fight on May 30th and was requested to after the DeGale-Dirrell purse bid fell through so they needed a name for the main event of that PPV.

He had 5 weeks to find an opponent and he fought Gavin then, who was going to face Bizier in a final eliminator rather than having to face him later in the year.

Any critique for Brook facing Gavin is just critique for Brook fighting at all that night. And if he didn't the event would've probably been cancelled and Mitchell and Selby would've lost the title chances in their back yard.

Aducknis fights whoever he wants too, must be nice to not worry about mando's and fight complete cans because WBC is corrupt to no end.

It didn't need to be uttered how disappointing it was but he'd just fought Hopkins and Pascal. Brook I felt it was alright considering it was his mando and he had a massive hole put in his leg, it was the Gavin fight that riled the majority up.
