To me, Lara is one of those fighters hardcore fans overrate massively because they are seen as not getting a fair shake. But imagine how much **** someone like Mayweather or Golovkin would've got if they had performed like he did against the likes of Molina, Vanes (twice), Angulo...Rigondeaux is the same, if Pacquiao, GGG, Kovalev, Ward, Gonzalez, Canelo etc had been dropped hard twice against someone not even in the top 50 of their division like Amagasa or labored to a points win over Fransisco, they would've been dumped off pound for pound lists without passing go.
Don't disagree with a thing you said, I addressed that in a thread I wrote about GGG and Lara. http://www.boxingforum24.com/thread...r-lara-he-poses-no-threat-to-golovkin.542117/
Technically I was a Brook nuthugger on here before I was a GGG nuthugger, GGG fanboys used to hate me.
Don't see what's so outlandish against a full fledged would be top 5 jmw stopping a chinny over rated jmw
Erislandy Lara has not tasted defeat. Kell Brook wont change that . The only man that beats Lara at 154 is probably Errol Spence when he inevitably moves up after wiping out 147 division.
Crazy putting Brook vs Lara after the broken face he's handicap now and a target for those lefts he may end up like Angulo.
You could be right. When pressed that time against Angulo, he threw some bombs, but that was how many years ago? Imo, it's not likely Brook will get hit as much as Angulo. As. Angulo.
Lara picks him apart pretty easy. Longer, faster of hand and foot, superior jab, and just better boxer. Lara wide ud or late tko similar to Angulo. Broken face. Now that we know kell has lil b i t c h bones.
