Check the posts on the thread - the informed knew this Knobchenko was pony. An old and shot Choc Mundine schooled him 3 years ago - Eh Day's soft touch then Amir Con PPV for the muggeth
He was robbed v Mundine go and watch the fight as you obviously haven't. Rabchenko is a world rated fighter. Not as good asyo9 guys innduvision but sort of Virginia a justifiable voluntary for a champ. Brook done a job on him, looked like he has got some power back that he's lost at welterweight recently as weight drained.
Brook looked ok...but since the fight with GGG there seems to be something in his demeanor where he looks more vulnerable than he used to.
Very good bounce back performance. Should all be about the khan fight now. Another tune up first..then see how he gets on with khan. Then give Spence another go at 154 if all goes to plan. The UK,s got the money to move Spence to 154 and get him back in the UK imo. If not get another good 154 champion in with him. 3 or 4 fights max then call it a day. Very good and skilled fighter brook...who slightly gets overrated because of that high skill level. Takes more to win a fight than skill as that yafai found out tonite. brook will give anyone at 154 problems tho. Looked good tonite brook but won't know too much till hes tested at 154. In fairness golovkin and Spence both very good fighters. No shame losing to either of them.
Brook as always very aesthetically good to watch. Great timing. Thought Rabchenko would have a bit more. Great performance.
Brook looked good but the questions still remain as to how he will react when hit constantly on the face and eye. Khans blistering handspeed will keep kell tucked in his shell coz he wont wanna be hit on the eye. Khan also wont stand there and fight toe to toe. This win is gonna flatter the brook supporters but tougher tests lie ahead. The idea of a fight with jermell charlo is very naive and foolish for not alot of financial reward.
To be honest with you I think Rabchenko is probably a tougher test than Khan at this point. Brook would knock him out as soon as he lands just like that.
I wouldn't go that far. Khan is much more difficult stylistically. Despite his reptuation of being chinny, it's still hard to catch Khan. It's not going to be as easy to stop Khan as it was to stop Rabchenko. The handspeed and footspeed will give Brook problems.
