Rios is overrated, he sucks & is going to get schooled again. He got schooled by an average out-boxer in Manny Pacquiao, what's he going to do to brook ?

I think Rios experience and preasure will be the win factor against brook.

i see the fight been really similar to to the acosta fight.

    who you got?

you dont have to have a cv like PAC to know if a boxer is good or not....granted Brook has not fought too mant top 10 fighters but you must be able to see he is far too big and slick for Rios?

his timing is superb and footwork impeccable ,he has a good range of shots and carries power in both hands ..he is also very well conditioned now...over the next 2 years you will see Brook start to pick off the top 10 WWs

I think Brook will beat him easily. Don't get mad, that's just my opinion! I haven't seen anything from Rios at WW that suggests to me that he can deal with a good boxer. Even at LW I didn't think he deserved the nod against Abril and it's a lot harder for him to bully guys on the inside at WW when he's not outweighing them by 10 lbs on fight night. At WW, Rios is 2-2 with the 1 of the wins coming by DQ in a fight in which he was being outboxed by Chavez and the other being an early stoppage of a shot Alvarado - who was never great anyway and hasn't won a single fight at WW in his career.\

We shall see who's right soon! :good

:nod I agree, I've been high oh Brook for a very long time. But Yeyo doesn't ever believe in a fighter until he has the names on his resume to back it up and that's his right. You and I would rather be ahead of the curve :nod

    Fight night weights:
    Rios - 163 lbs
    Alvarado - 161 lbs

He should have lost to Abril in his last fight at LW and was being comprehensively outboxed by Chavez before Diego lost his head. Rios is completely unproved at WW.

I feel you, but Brook imo got problems with Porter and Rios its way more organize attaking and putting preasure than Porter.

The only advantage that i give to Brook its his size! If he moves and use angles i see him frustrating Rios, but i havent seen that on Brook.

Ya Porter is a technical mess but Rios isn't exactly JCC Sr. in terms of applying technical pressure and Porter is much more proven at the weight. Rios could easily have been 2-4 in his last 5 fights.
    Abril: Gift Decision
    Alvarado: W TKO
    Alvarado: L UD
Pacquiao: L UD (no shame there)
    Chavez: DQ while being outboxed
    Alvarado: W TKO
