Brook vs Rosado in the works?

Don't agree with this at all.

Rosado is a great choice of opponent for Brook as he is very durable and has good amount of size over Kell - exactly the sort of opponent Brook needs to prepare for if a fight vs Hurd is the goal.

Kell needs punches against his eyes to test them, Kell needs rounds in the bank at 154 and he will be unlikely to KO a durable Rosado.

I think it's great matchmaking and good prep for someone with limited boxing skill but high durability - Hurd

 

I haven't heard anything about this, but I like the fight.
Rosado is on no ones list, but he a good fighter. Not special but he comes to fight. Theres not much else you can ask.

The only question here is where is Brook at at this current time in his career while Rosado gets another chance at being "in" and another good pay day.

This is what boxing is about.

 

To be fair I thought Rosado beat Murray, but I am biased with how much I dislike MM.

 

Brook should fight someone like Ishe Smith or Charles Hatley, imo.

 

Ever since Kell got slashed by that Spaniard. Appears the whole incident shook Brook up mentally/physically (not as mobile).

 

I don't think it is a bad fight. It certainly doesn't get my blood pumping but we were all wondering how he would look at 154 and we got a round and a half. He needs some rounds. There's also some real big guys at the weight too and Brook needs to get used to it, rosado will be big and durable and beatable.

 

You know what. Kinda changed my opinion. Like you say, Kell needs rounds against bigger physical guys.

Valid points but this would be poor given that Kell called out Spence and he has been called out by Charlo and Hurd.

Rosado is a journeyman. Kell is in the final phase of his career and has claimed he wants to be a 2-weight champ. It’s obvious what will happen. A soft touch and then a fight with Khan.

Obvious that Brook, Hearn and Ingle don’t want to go near Hurd and Charlo.

 

Rosado going back to 154 is a bad idea

 

Could backfire on brook. Rosado is pretty durable even at mW. He lacks power to probably hurt brook but there's still a big size difference.
