"The fight will likely be Sept. 3, although Aug. 27 is another possible date, and will take place at Bramall Lane, an outdoor soccer stadium in Sheffield, England, Brook's hometown."

    Good fight I say.

Brook UD, but Vargas might land a lucky punch.

Not a great fight. But, not THAT bad either. Vargas is coming off a good win. Brook...well...it's a little better than his usual caliber of opponent for a title defence.

Not that there's anything special about Vargas but IMO he's more proven than brook as far as top competition. He lost to Bradley clearly but that 12th round punch that hurt Bradley proves he's still dangerous while losing..also in my view he's hungrier than brook...the fact that brook really had to tame porter by holding all night really didn't tell me he's ready to go thru the fire like some of the other welterweights and in my view got the "w" but didn't win that fight B...I can't call it tho bro...

Brook will take it, a few early rounds will be competitive but he will adjust. I expect a decision, most likely a competitive one. If Brook wants to make a name for himself in the states he needs a few knockdowns or a KO.

Brook wins by KO in the late rounds.

Hopefully Thurman gets through his fight with Porter to set up a mega fight with Brook early next year.

Winner of this fight is clear number 1 given the retirement of Floyd and Pac.

Hopefully Bradley gets a shot at the winner.

Bad fight. Vargas is the worst of the Top 10 Welters. Didn't expect any more from Brook though.
