bradley said after his last fight he wants a rest... garcia is waiting for floyd. cotto isn't fighting june clearly they are waiting until later in the year. When you hear all these reports think about them yourself and think what is going to be possible, don't believe everything you read...

I have been brooks biggest critic but this fight is about the best one they could make by this summer. I just hope Hearn doesn't drop back into fighting bums again after

Would be happy with this fight, If Brook beat Vargas (Which I think he will) then he will have two of the belts at WW, thus making it more difficult for the big names to ignore him, which to be fair to Brook they have so far.

I'm sure the Brook haters will still moan about this fight but it wont be with any logic what so ever.

I'm sure Brook is frustrated too.
Brook is a top quality fighter, anyone can see that. He needs to leave Hearn if he can't get the BIG fights soon

And go to who? The only guy in the UK with a TV deal in Matchroom.

He was with FW before and he wasn't exactly great for Brook.

Some people will do anything to talk down Brook, he'll beat Vargas and hold 2 world titles, Khan still wont want nothing to do with him, He'll still hold a win over Porter who is still picking up victories and it will pretty much only leave Bradley and Garcia

I think this is a good fight, better than No NO dans and Bizer ..

Pretty much this. Admittedly it's a fairly weak opponent to unify against but it's a good opportunity to gain some leverage and lure in the divisions biggest names. It's a lot more difficult to ignore a unified champion.

  10. Bradley- Not ranked in the IBF, can't fight Brook yet.
Garcia- ever heard the name Al Haymon?
    Cotto- Already turned down Brook
GGG- looking to unify the middleweight division. Brook doesn't hold a title at Middleweight

Vargas is a good stepping stone, if he gets that WBO title too, with Haymon clients holding the WBA and WBC, I think Brook would then become the only option for Bradley.

If he beats Vargas and Bradley, the risk/ reward works out better for the likes of Thurman, Garcia, Cotto, etc.

Is it a "BIG" name that Hearn promised?

I'm not moaning but we have listened to Hearn and Brook saying they want Mayweather, Pacquiao, Khan, Bradley, Thurman, Porter again, Cotto, Spence Jr and they have even mentioned Golovkin but they are going to serve up Vargas?

It's a little bit of a come down

The Golovkin talk was silly, but not one of those welterweights is willing to fight Brook in the summer. A unification fight makes sense.

He can't really win. He either fights vargas and gets **** for it or he waits for someone better an then gets **** for not fighting often enough

Vargas is an easy win for me, his first real test and he got beat by Bradley.

Vargas has no power, brook should go the states win by k.o, take the belt then Thurman or Garcia next. Vargas said he would fight only in the states.
