Brook vs Vargas September 3rd in the U.K.!

Yep. Brook-Vargas is a very decent matchup, let's be thankful.

 

Vargas doesn't look like anything special, but you can't overlook him either. The Bradley fight was his first big, meaningful fight, and it seemed to make Vargas a better fighter. Definitely not an elite, but he's worldclass nonetheless. He's in his prime, hungry, and can be dangerous in any round. Isn't crazy talented and gets sloppy sometimes, but he does have some good skills when he applies them. Vargas definitely a wildcard at 147.

 

A decent matchup not big on Vargas but a step up from Kell's usual comp, I don't put much into the unification thing the WBO belt is trash and the last year should have shown that they stripped Mayweather after the PAC fight to let Bradley fight Vargas for it only to strip Bradley and hand the title to Vargas that is a disgrace.

 

Well that's... ambitious. Hopefully tickets will be real cheap to avoid a mostly empty stadium.

 

This fight took way too long to happen imo. Good fight though.
