I had him 3-1 up but a couple of those rounds could have gone either way. The fight was more competitive than I thought it would be, such a shame about the injury, could have been a boxing classic.
Yep as another from Englandistan, Brook only won the 2nd and that was arguable. There was clearly something dodgy going on with the judging.
WTF? the 2nd round was not arguable! every broadcaster even hbo had it a clear round for brook, froch also had brook winning the fight, imagine what Ward and Lara would have done to ggg, no wonder ggg and his team ducked them
I had GGG winning the 1st and 3rd round, and Kell winning 2 and 4, but Brook was landing the cleaner work and was outboxing GGG. GGG was made to look like an amateur at times though.... No head movement and throwing wild punches that Brook was evading easily. The size difference was just too much for brook, had Kell campaigned at middleweight his whole career then I could see him winning a points decision. I was previously unsure about the middleweight divison, but now there is no doubt in my mind that it is currently a really weak division.
With all due respect, GGG hardly took Brook seriously and was walking through his punches because he had zero respect for his power. That is not always going to deliver the clearest victory or a victory that is the most convincing, but it does lead to quick KO victories. GGG is the one being ducked and I hope that some of the punanni's who are ducking him right now, eventually take the challenge, so you eat your words. In this case, GGG was going to knock Brook clean out in the 5th or the 6th, had Ingle not thrown the towel in.
Well looking at Compubox stats Brook lost every round to GGG. Had the same feeling the whole fight, just cat and mouse game. The second could have put maximum as a draw.

Golovkin had a bad day at the office but he still won every round and broke orbital bone of the opponent (who was 36-0-0) with a clean shot. That's how good Golovkin is.
I agree he made a conscious decision to fight like that but I'm starting to question the wisdom of it. That was downright ugly
