Brook Was ahead on every card

Im a fan of Brook.
His unique combination of power, speed, ring IQ, size, chin, defense and counter-punching make him the most complete fighter above 135lbs.

I never liked this fight for either guy except the financials since both these fighters deserve the money they made last night.
Sadly, GGG's best scalp must now maintain his hunger after getting life changing money.

Brook, IMO, will not only beat Lara, but will khtfo.
Brook also has little trouble with Smith, either Charlo, but I will say that I think if Andrade makes the final bell.....this fight would be incredibly hard to score with both fighters showing their class.

Now....I think Spence is probably the next great MW Champion. But Im really looking ahead.
I also think Erickson Lubin has an outside chance at becoming boxings next Mayweather, but at the higher weights, and if GGG is still fighting at 160 come 2018/2019.....I think he loses his 0 to one or the other.

But Lara......no fukkin chance in H-E-double hockey sticks.

 

Sweet, another thread where Fantasy Lara is picked to school people while Reality Lara goes 7-5 on Vanes and life and death with Angulo.

I'd like to see Lara-GGG just to see the people who're turning Lara into some boogeyman now flip-flop and give Golovkin no credit for the knockout. Stylistically, runners match up terribly with GGG. You'd need a spoiler like peak Hopkins who knew how to smother distance to give him a stylistic foil. Ward was the only guy in the area capable of a similar strategy, but only an idiot would forego pursuing a Canelo fight to give in to Andre's demands.

I saw the fight even after 4 and was totally unsurprised that Brook was able to out box GGG at times. But it was also apparent from the start that GGG was eventually going to stop Brook. GGG repeatedly drove Brook to the ropes and pinned him there. Kinda reminded me of an abbreviated version of Cotto-Margs I.

 

I think Brooks surprised a lot of people how well he managed to slip GGG shots & get some great shots in...OK I suppose GGG did let him to get his shots off at times...still liked Brook though.

 

Brook was clearly outboxing GGG, 3-1 up going into the 5th. Some of you have literally no idea how to score a fight.

Had Brook been a legit MW, GGG would have an L after last night. Eubank Jr will murder him.

Thats extremely rare and unheard of in this site.

I personally had Brook winning 2 rnds .

Brook was losing on my card, I gave him one round but I could see another going for him.

 

Obviously Brook was going to be ahead in the scorecards they were fighting in Brook's backyard. I had Ggg 3-1, but there were competitive rounds.

 

It's clear what GGGs intentions were, he wanted to stop Kell Brook and threw any gameplan and boxing out of the window and made it a street fight. He was prone to getting hit because of how reckless he was but even due to that I only gave Kell the 2nd round. Froch obviously had Kell up because he ducked GGG and is trying to make it out that he isn't that good and that if they fought he'd win easily, which he said post fight.

 

People don't realise how much a biased crowed can influence the judges and commentators. I watched the fight again with the sound down low and without my own excitement watching it live.

GGG was landing hurtful shots from the start and even during the second round despite some success by Brook, GGG was still landing shots especially a sickening jab. He took Brook apart I'm afraid and gave Brook the second that's it and that's nowhere near as clear as I first thought.....
