Brook performed well. He only won the second round and even that was close. The Sky broadcasting team were acting as if Golovkin wasn't touching Brook with a jab throughout the fight. Golovkin looking wild and missing was all they were concerned about and that is probably the reason for those awful scorecards
No he wasn't winning. I had him winning round 2. Now if you count Sugar Ray Leonard Hagler scoring in the last 10 seconds of every round type of scoring rounds, then maybe he won 3 rounds lol.
i rewatched it on you tube with russian a commentator, and ggg looked like he was fighting with head gear on, just followed him around like they were sparring. i think the eye injury happened 21 seconds before the end of rd 1, but with all the adrenaline, it didnt start to feel scary to brooks team till after the second rd.
I had GGG up, but Brook being more competitive than expected. Either way, the bigger, stronger man won as most thought he would. Credit to Brook, he fought out of his skin.
I thought Brooke won one round, the second if I remember correctly. All the other rounds, GGG was making Brooke back up, GGG threw the biggest punches for sure.
I had Brook winning 3-1. He was out hustling GGG who kept looking for the power shot. But the people saying that GGG was about to gas and Brook was about to come on are crazy. Brook was about to go down and probably wouldn't have made it out of that round. But his corner should have let him go down and let the ref stop things, instead of throwing in the towel. I hate seeing fights stopped when both combatants are still on their feet.
