I think Canelo beats the version of GG we saw on Saturday, but it's possible that GG was not his usual self due to the travel and the fight being in the UK. It's possible GG is deteriorating with each and every fight, certainly he did not look well at the final press conference before the weigh-in.

He may not have intentionally wanted to look vulnerable, but I still think he didn't take Kell brook as seriously (as a puncher) than he would vs Canelo. In my view Canelo is the biggest puncher that Golovkin would have ever faced.

Biggest puncher and best skilled fighter he's ever faced. If GGG wins he will have to walk through fire to get it done... let's see how good he is, because I have my doubts.

Ouma was a tougher fight for Golovkin, though he was ill for that fight. Ouma was able to land hard combo's as they both went to war. The difference was Golovkin could hurt the iron chinned Ouma while Ouma even when landing in combination couldn't hurt GGG and Golovkin gradually broke him down.

Had Brook not suffered the injury the fight may have very well been another battle of attrition like the Ouma fight, Brook showed he had a good enough chin to not just be blown away.

As for Canelo/Golovkin, I still favour Golovkin but it won't be easy. Canelo has a damn good chin himself and he'll definitely be able to land and land often and it may come down to a battle of wills. We've seen Golovkin get hit hard and hit often and still keep coming, can Canelo do the same?

Ouma took a good beating, that is all.

It wasn't all. Ouma peppered his dome with left hand leads like there was no tomorrow.

You said Khan has great footwork and Kell is a plodder. You clearly have no knowledge of boxing whatsoever. Khan may very well have some of the worst foot work at this level of boxing, he has none whatsover. Kell can fight off the front or backfoot and has excellent lateral movement, evidenced by quite a few of his other fights (not to mention this one).
    Don't embarrass yourself.

How dafuk has Canelo a damn good chin? Against what MW is this theory based off?

GGG vs Canelo would be an absolute brutal slaughter . You need legs to be competitive against GGG and Canelo only knows how to come forward. Anybody MW walking into Golovkin is going to get destroyed , never mind a tiny flat footed low out-put Canelo.
This chump got hold of the MW championship and defended it against Amir Khan. He passed up good names at 154 when he went straight after Beefy Smith. Canelo is the biggest coward joke in all of boxing. Thinking he has even a romote chance of success against 3G is laughable.

Have to agree with Dino here. I don't see how Canelo has any chance against any veraion of GGG either. With all the talk of the division being ****, there are several guys @ 160 who'd fare better against Golovkin.
