Most of us would call this a brilliant technical performance. It was boring. GG has bigger fish to fry. GG used his tools. Sometimes you have to make the fight easier by doing this.

UH, weightlifting is part of putting on mass when you go up a weightclass that you didn't grow into. That doesn't mean he plans on going for the KO. He should be working on power though. If he doesn't improve his power enough to where it gets GGG's respect he won't have a chance. But don't let dumb public statements fool you.. "going for the KO" is just PR dialogue to sell fights.
