"Since it's an over-the-weight fight [with Golovkin], [Brook's] title wont be on the line. So assuming if he wins he's got ten days to make a decision to stay at middleweight or come back down to welterweight [to fight Spence]. If he loses, on October the 26th we will notify him to start negotiating with Errol spence.

So from that it does look like spence may be waiting a while & im sure the ibf would allow brook extra time due to the injury..

It will be a shame when Brook takes 6 months for his injury before vacating the title to Spence.
Brook will not fight Spence at 147.

He might not but it won't be 6 months will it. The ibf will call mandatory on october 26th, they then have 30 days to negotiate and the fight has to take place within the next 120 days..I'm sure he'l of decided by october 26th ..

I find it odd though, thes mandatories are due every 12 months, he last defended it in march.... surely it should be defended by march next year, from october 26th 3 months is january..

I've noticed that the IBF is aggressive with the mandatory fights. Kind of like it :)

You remember wrong. There was numerous reports during negotiations and before the purse bid that the fight was to take place before the end of summer and why would that be said unless some type of delay was in the works. At the time this was said it was January and February. Wilder would've been ready by March or April. Pedvetkin's team was looking for a much later date, turned out to be late May only because the WBC stipulated a date within 90 days after the purse bid. Talking about the end of summer when it's January is shitty and now we know why they were looking for delays because of the peds and they still ****ed it up. If they had flushed out his goddamn peds correctly there'd have been a fight.

Another stunningly bad prediction from one of ESB's resident imbeciles.

It's hilarious seeing the YouTube pundits being proven so wrong with the BS predictions that kell would duck Spence.

Even now they can't admit they were wrong

It was so dumb. A guy who steps up to fight GGG is ducking nobody.

It's amazing how many so called boxing fans literally know next to nothing about the character of the people who partake in the sport that they purport to be knowledgeable about. I'm sure some people on here have a form of Tourette's that means they can't help posting the first b o l l o c k s that comes into their heads.

The same people who said Kell would not fight GGG are the same people who said Kell wouldn't fight Spence.

I would have thought these guys would have learnt there lesson by now.

Amir Khan is another who told the world Kell not fight GGG or Spence. Wrong again! Lol

It was a possibility, but how many El Pollos will we see in one year ?

No true champion ever vacates his belt to run away from his mandatory
