It wasn't Wilder's fault. He(povetkin) failed the drug test after passing 2 before. That totally points to cheating, whether it was his team who did it without his knowledge, he still failed and it was proven in court. That's it...
The suspicious thing about it is that it was not appearing in all of his tests, which could either mean he really took it a long time ago, or he was masking the use. The fact that he failed again months later pretty much gives us the answer to that question. So it's Wilder's fault that Povetkin chose to use a substance that ended up being banned. It's also Wilder's fault that Povetkin got caught cheating again right? I mean it was pretty clear to anyone that after the Wlad fight he was doping. Let me repeat the facts. Povetkin chose to delay the Wilder mando, he then got caught with a banned substance whether he took it before or after which resulted in the WBC choosing to delay it. Those are the facts. So if you're going to blame anyone for the delays it's Povetkin, Wilder was also willing to fight Povetkin even after this debacle, but then he got caught again against Stiverne. But sure, let's blame it on Wilder!
Exactly. That's suspicious as hell, and the fact that he got caught months later against Stiverne pretty much confirms what we're all thinking.
I'll give the winner some credit for doing what they have do and beating their opponent but there are questions surrounding both guys. Brook because of the beating he took from GGG and coming back down in weight. Spence because he is unproven against top level opposition. Whoever wins this fight will have to further prove themself against the Thurman-Garcia winner.
What the hell has GGG got to do with this ? Your a small obcessive little man who posts nothing but crap about whatever boxer your fantasising about hanging out of the back of this week. Both men deserve respect for this fight because it is a genuine 50/50 tough fight that either of the fightwers could have easily avoided and went and picked up morre worthless trinkets from a weaker boxer in the division, Brooke had options at 147 and 154 but he did what EVERY boxer should do and fight his mando. Win or Lose big props to both fighters. Brook fighting his mando should be respected especially one as tough as this, so many fighters duck drop belts move weights to avoid the tough fights. Brook inside a year will soon have fought GGG and the biggest prospect in 147 in Spence if that doesnt deserve respect I dont know what does.
It's simple. It's the GGG nuthuggers who will try and discredit Spence, these were the same guys that said Brook will destroy SPence but now they got their excuses ready. "Brook is drained, he took a beating from GGG, etc".
Lol no I'm not confident. These are not excuses though, they are just facts. Time will tell us the truth. All these welterweights have to prove themselves. By the way, did you give Golovkin credit for beating Brook?
Of course not. Why would I lmao. Did I give Mayweather credit for beating Marquez? Hell no, and Marquez was a lineal champ and actually fought bodies, unlike Brook who fought one live opponent in porter. I could tell you were a little g fan by the excuses. You think GGG deserves a similar type fo credit for beating someone 2 weight classes below him, compared to Spence fighting a champ in the champ's division? FOH
This thread was more about a prediction of if Brook would fight Spence. I said it would never happen. I was wrong. I can admit when I'm wrong. As for giving credit, I figured it was stupid to give him credit for fighting his mandatory and not giving up his belt, especially since he was the king of mandos when they were bums. I can admit when I'm wrong, which I did. That's why I'm so many levels above you. I can see things through an unbiased eye without an agenda.
So Golovkin get's no credit for beating a guy because he has a smaller frame but Spence would get credit for beating a drained version of the same guy?
