Brook's mandible will let him down in this fight once Spence gets that work in. Brook will crumble.

More question marks over Spence chin than Brooks. I wouldn't be surprised if either got stopped.

 

1. Brook's chin is more than proven, Spence has been tested once and ultimately got hurt and ran
the last round from a light hitter.
2. Brook's skillset is more than proven, Spence has yet to fight a top 15 WW.
3. Brook has already fought a variety of styles, Spence has yet to fight someone
that matches him physically/athletically.

And marking your words, Spence's body work is going to be the reason he gets
beaten at the elite level, he goes to the body slow, leaves his head exposed, and
poses when he goes downstairs. He's aching to get countered by a quick counter
puncher, and what is Brook? A quick counter puncher.

If GGG couldn't put Brook down, Spence has no chance.

Spence hasn't proven he can take a shot from someone like Brook.

The only concern I have for Brook is the weight. As long as that's ok, the movement, punch variety and power will do the job and stop Spence inside 8 rounds.

This could be good fight if...Spence is up to it, beating an all time great like Algeri , well he did danny jacobs proud as a cook but C'mon, when he first appeared in any sort of fight most people gave him credit getting in with manny, but that's about it. Spence's people are not idiots, they have seen something in Brook they like, maybe they think he will not be able to boil down to welter properly anymore, he did make a big thing in the GGG build up about being able to eat & relax & how hard it was/is to get down to welter. He put on a load of muscle & now he's going to lose that without any problems...doubtful.
My worry for Spence is its a little to early, he should fight Porter, then maybe Brook or Thurman, he is definitely going places but I think Brook, if unaffected by the boil down, is a bit too much right now...
