Eddie talking in kugans new vid of carson jones 2 followed by Julio diaz They were having digs at khan for fighting a blown up lightweight but now they want him to fight brook at 147 ??? Also how do any of these two get brook ready for a world title shot ?? His level of competition is very poor, if he does fight diaz that will the best fighter he would have fought
should put him in with senchenko, former world champion and has name value in uk due to win over hatton.
147 is so stacked it can't be that hard to get a "name" over here... Berto, Madiana, Mosley, Cano, Lopez, Jones, Ortiz, Senchenko, Holt, Cintron.... Even Randell Bailey!
Fact is if brook was still with frank, we would see him in the same light as Khan #fact. Hearns fault tbh.
Jones ****ing drew with byrne, looked awful too. Would have liked the diaz fight now then someone like cano/mosley senchenko maidana lopez next.
You know what i mean, but okay. We wouldnt think hes protected. We would rate him as a world class fighter.
My overall concern during this whole issue is Eddie Hearn's apparent lack of confidence in Brook making a speedy recovery and basically "getting on with things" To go back two steps and rematch Jones then match Diaz is by default an admission that Kell is way off world level! going against what Hearn and Brook seemingly worked so hard to achieve - "World Title Challenger Status" Its really odd, a simple statement like; "Kell needs a test having been out so long and we will be going after the world champions after that" would do!
Very poor opponents IMO, like someone said 147 is packed from elite to contenders and fighting a guy who he went life and death with for 5 rounds and against someone to gate against Khan is not good to test and progress Kell.
