Not sure if this has been posted on here already or not, just another fantastic Gorilla Productions video this time in honour of one of the best trainers in the sport today.

It's hard to argue against Freddie Roach after his recent success with Pac, but if there was ever a man to challenge him as the number one it has to be Brother Nazim. I could listen to him talk boxing all day long, and not only does he know his stuff, he is absolutely hilarious (see second video @ Mayweather-Mosley Press Conference).

IMO without Nazim, Shane has no chance of beating Floyd. With Nazim in his corner, although still an underdog, i definitely give him a realistic chance at the upset.

    Enjoy :yep

    Cheers Johna. Great video's

    My Favorite Trainer right now.

I agree with you on the Mosley thing. I was just waiting for a bus earlier today and it run through my head about the Mosley-PBF fight and i thought this has to be the first time i'm not 100% certain Floyd wins.

The reason...cos Mosley has Naazim in his corner and i know how damn good his strategies are. This though will be his biggest and maybe his greatest test.

If Shane didn't have Naazim in his corner i wouldn't be interested in the fight because i'd know Floyd have it wrapped up...his still the favorite to win but i'm intrigued to see what Naazim comes with come fight night.

One of the top trainers in the sport no doubt about it. I think his strength is as he said in the interview, he knows when he already has a race horse. He doesn't try to do anything overly dramatic, he hasn't got the arrogance of a Mayweather or even Roach - he keeps a low profile. He's very good at working out gameplans and is a very steady head in the corner when many are too caught up in the occasion.

That said, he is fortunate to be working with relatively finished articles, experienced fighters. A true test of his greatness would be to take an unfinished product and turn him into something special. Not that he'd ever be concerned with seeking that type of limelight for himself, but thats what would make him a great trainer.

I agree totally, and the person for that job is his son Rock Allen, but god knows where he's disappeared too.

Gonna watch this when I get home. Looks like Nazim is highly respected on these boards. Nice to see a good guy with a low profile getting the credit they deserve.

    Totally agree :deal

Hopkins' career has been so successful, in part, because of Richardson.

I've studied Bernard for years and Richardson is seen as a vital member of his team, Even when he went Roach Richardson was still right there having his input and said he learnt new things from Roach, Richardsons article in the ring magazine was an excellent one and a great insight into the life and beliefs he has, He's very humble too and gives respect to all the other coaches and says he's still learning al the time...
