Yep, Nazims article in Ring Magazine (explaining his brief hiatus from up close work with B-Hop as well) was quality. He really knows his stuff.

Here's the keys to beating Floyd, and one reason I think Shane can spring an upset (doubtful though)

Floyd takes a few rounds to adjust to his opponents game. Nazim will be smart enough to get Shane to change up after a few rounds and keep Floyd guessing.

Do that for 7 rounds and you've got it won.

Thing is, Mosley is not a very adaptable fighter. He also lacks the footspeed/work to keep up with Floyd. A quality fighter is Mosley, but there's no reason to suggest Floyd isn't just cherry picking another beatable fighter.

Would be a very, VERY good win if Floyd does what I expect him to do (coast to a points win) but enough to cement him as the P4P no1 or into the top 50 of all time? Absolutely no chance.

Wasn't it Nazim who was heard constantly shouting "Body shot!" to Hopkins in the 9th round vs De La Hoya? Hopkins then KO'd Oscar with a body shot.

I really rate him..... and like him because he just gets on with his job rather than being an annoying **** like Roach or Floyd sr.

As mentioned above, it would be good to see him with a lesser fighter to see how he fares, rather than proven quality like Hopkins or Shane.

Absolutely, been a big fan of Nazim for a long time. I think Hopkins-Pavlik & Mosley-Margarito have finally brought him some of the due recognition he deserves. Has been one of my favourite trainers for years, not just because of the quality of his work but for his professional and respectful attitude.

I'm really looking forward to the Floyd-Shane 24/7 solely because we will find out more about Nazim.

He really is a brilliant trainer and always has something interesting to say as opposed to someone like Floyd Sr or Roger who just chat **** most of the time.

Agree. Brother Nazim is a boxing genius, the interviews he gives makes great sense. I just hope that Mosley does the job.

I think one of them shouts 'very classy' at Hopkins in a sarcastic way because of the way he goes on after the bell.

Then Jack Loew threatens to double-jab Bernard back to Philly

I like Nazim, just cause he doesn't talk about crazy training, he talks about strategy. His advice in the corner is great - do this and this will happen. Smart guy, and the love Hopkins has for him is clear.

He breaks guys down mentally. There's no trash talk - he sees people for who they are and he tells the truth.

I can't see Rog' or Floyd bad mouthing him, he's not a guy that invites derision.

With Nazim guiding Shane, and with B-Hop offering moral support, Shane has as good a chance as he'll ever have at overcoming the stylistic disadvantages he's up against in this fight. I'm an atheist, but I will be saying my prayers come fight night.

    WAR SHANE!!!

I'd have picked Mosley to beat Floyd at LW. Faster, bigger puncher, better chin, fantastic bodywork. Floyd, talented as he is, has built a mirage above LWW. His fights have been against very sub-standard opposition for his abilities. Mosley's the best he's fought since Judah, who's so erratic it's hard to rate the win objectively.

I think it's going to be a close fight.
