We can expect the result to be overturned to NC, Chagaev to be reinstated as WBA champion and Chagaev vs. Oquendo II up next.

Great so now you're already building excuses for your next pick gone wrong. How about if AJ beats Martin, you gonna cry foul then too? Could it be any more predictable? :rofl Typical fanboy behaviour

What's your excuse going to be when AJ is sprawled out unconscious on the canvass? And how exactly has my pick gone wrong, Browne KO'd Chagaev didn't he? And if you think the supposed Clenbuterol assisted him in that, you're insane.:nut

And what the hell is wrong with being a fanboy? If you're a fan of Boxing I would hope you'd be a fan of somebody. Otherwise why do you care.

I'm 100% behind Browne on this one. He's been royally stitched up.

Just another case of a Russian gang leader doing what they do.

My excuse? I couldn't give a **** if AJ loses, I'm not emotionally invested in him; though I don't think he will, and neither do the bookmakers (who aren't in the business of losing money). So you're picking Martin to lay out AJ unconscious? Got it. :nut If he loses, it could be lack of pro experience, or a glass jaw, who knows....there's reasons out there, again I couldn't care. That said, I don't rate Martin so highly either. He got his belt an extreme stroke of luck frankly.

There's a difference between being a fanboy, and being a fan of a fighter. I'd expect someone like you that spends so much time here to know the difference.

We will never know. Point is the WBA is legally bound to overturn the result once the B sample confirms the positive test. Browne can go to court all he wants, the belt is likely gone.

It must be nice being a cool post modern hipster devoid of any form of emotional connection to anything.

It's okay SimplyTheBest feel free to actually get invested in someone, it might make the sport more enjoyable to you.:good It doesn't make you gay or anything.

And yes I know the difference, and I'm not picking Martin because I'm a fanboy, I'm picking him because he's stylistically the worst opponent AJ could possibly face at this point in his career.

I just read Brown's team insisted on US based VADA in order to get an ironclad and objective result. And now this lol.

BILD.DE (who is close to Chagaev's team) just reported according to Google translate:

"What happens now with the title? The fight will be deemed "no contest", that is, as if it has never occurred. Browne will be stripped of his title, Chagaev will again be crowned world champion."

Nothing will happen for the time being, the B sample will have to be tested and Browne's lawyers have supposedly got evidence that he was clean when they went into Chechnya and they are going to make the case his food may have been tampered with.

Something like that, yes. Luis Resto said in Assault in the Ring that Panama Lewis used to crush antihistamine pills (used to treat asthma) and mix it with water.

It does not have to be tested. That's at Browne's discretion. It will only be tested if Browne wants to, which he will carefully discuss with his legal advisers I am sure. With 99.9% certainty the B test will have the same result as the first VADA test.

Erkan Teper - if I recall correctly - did not ask for his B sample to be tested. So this is not mandatory. But it doesn't change the result in any way.

Well RUSADA has lost their license with WADA so if you fight in Russia you're kinda forced to use an outside lab.

I believe Ryabinsky said he will use a top Euro lab for Wilder-Povetkin.

That's strange. First generation antihistamines like Benadryl will put you to sleep. I don't even think the second generation ones like Claritin were out yet, which won't sedate you.
