Lucas Browne is stepping in the ring for the first time this year vs 41 year old Argentinian Gonzalo Basile. From what I recall Browne was chasing Chagaev, but took step aside money or something similar? Regardless, I like watching Browne kinda. He's slow, he's crude, he looks like a club fighter, but I legitimately feel bad for dudes at the end of his right hand. Thing hits like a bomb. I don't see him landing it outside of a fluke against top level guys, but where he's currently fighting at it's pretty brutal. I've never watched much Basile.. The only fight that comes to mind is when he lost to Szpilka in like... 2012.. So I can't comment too much on him. Regardless, the guy is 66-11, with 38% KO rating.. He's lost 7 by KO, so I'm not seeing Browne getting dropped here, and I feel pretty confident Basile will go down. But perhaps someone who has watched Basile fight could offer better commentary. Regardless, as I said above, I legitimately enjoy watching Browne, one of those amazingly flawed C level fighters that remains entertaining.
