Nice.....But did you really think Huck beat Povetkin?:think All I read was that Huck hurt him several times....
Yeah I stated that on many threads, including my Huck thread. Maybe I should add that to this one. I scored it 7-5 for Huck.
He gave him a very tough fight besides just lasting the distance... Hasn't done very much but neither has LB. That's if you think he won the Rudenko fight. I agree with the other poster that even likely that ancient version of Oquendo beats Browne. Not sure if you're familiar with Oquendos career or not but he's been wronged by the judges A LOT, and even when on the losing end he's almost always extremely competitive. I don't think it's far fetched to think that version beats Browne..... Browne struggled with Long, Rudenko, Bahoeli and was dropped by Scott Belshaw(pretty sure it was him) I won't hold the knockdown Walker scored against him as that guy can crack, but he didn't look all that great against a shot version. Browne is in with an opponent who's head and shoulders above any he's been in with in... He's going to have to show a kind of form that's been absent throughout his entire fight career. Chagaev may be fat and passed it... But he's still a faded championship caliber fighter where as Browne is just a glorified toughman.
I was there live for the Toney-Oquendo fight and thought Fres did no worst than a draw..........Buttt............Oquendo is no more than a journeyman... Chris Arreola would bust him up!
Enough with nonsense. Chagaev is on his way down, he is declining. Browne is on the way up, he is improving as a boxer and hungry. There is a clear talent diference between them, but did those boxers cross points in the contention line already? That's what we are gonna see next saturday.
This fight (like many "important" culling match-ups of heavyweight contenders in recent years, unfortunately) is basically a big wet stale cabbage fart in the fans' mouths.
