humano is a nobody who has achieved nothing in domestic hw boxing choosing this fight over any kind of fight in europe is a backwards step
It's funny watching people post here who have no idea, trying to pretend that they do How's that 4 knockdown rule of yours going? You know, the one that bought about the end of the deMori v Alexander bout atsch
don't know what that does for haumono tbh. its a lose lose fight imo. a loss would be terrible. and lets face it, ben has huge power to make any opponent nervous. a win against a part time boxer with defencive flaws would do little for him. i think haumono should target chauncy welliver or someone like that and train like its a world title fight, no more ***** footing around. if he has 2 months notice for a good opponent, then he can be prepared properly on fight night, no excuses then.
War Ben! That's a fighter that goes after fights and has not hesitated to build a local fan base. That is how you do it Totalpac - not the false ranking then avoid the "lower" contenders. This marketability that you think Mark has - goes only so far then interest wanes quickly. No one I know follows Mark and only has a passing interest in his name. Lauryn Eagle has got more marketability at this point - and look at that joke of a career.:deal
You saying Lauryn Eagle hasn't done well for herself as a water skier? Can you name another that you know?
Done well as a waterskier and an utter joke as a boxer. The new promo showing her wearing a bikini with boxing gloves and showing her arse is no doubt her version of "sexy boxing". Seems like some one else had the idea first - perhaps Mark and Lauryn can fight off:dead
Butlin is a solid journeyman who is rarely stopped. Browne doesn't look up to much, was floored by Scott Belshaw who lasted about a minute against the very average Larry Olubamiwo. The likes of Chisora and Edmund Gerber have failed to stop Butlin who usually takes a couple of rounds off his opponents. Given that those opponents are of a much higher standard than Browne I would expect this to be a closer fight than everyone is anticipating.
3 knockdowns in any one round concludes proceedings everywhere, except Tas & NT, where there is no regulating body. However, if a government regulator head (Vic or NSW) or ANBF officiates in that area, then the rule applies.
As you well know, fight fans follow the sport for contests, genuine contests, and from those contests we are occasionally blessed with a truly great fight. Fans are not interested in mismatches where the bloke in the other corner has never won a fight. Or, though he might have an American accent, is only an aging, damaged shell of his former self. That's a large part of why Mark deMori has virtually no following, and is resorting to any cheap gimmick he can to try and draw attention to himself.
Browne, who is managed by Brendan Bourke and Matt Clark, was formerly a Mixed Martial Artist, before switching to Boxing fulltime in 2010. He is trained by Grady Stewart at Combat Sports, Perth, and will face Butlin, This content is protected over a scheduled This content is protected rounds.
