Browne vs Welliver Nov 12

I don't like this fight much either. But in his defence, Welliver fought a pretty close fight with Sherman Williams. One of the judges actually scored it a draw.

 

This fight won't prove a thing. Browne wins and gains little to nothing in the process.

 

It's an undercard fight. Not sure what people were expecting. I'd guess that a fight between two Heavyweights like this would be at least £30k. Not sure what that is in Aussie but it's ok for a support bout.

 

Is it too much to expect a contest?

 

£30k is about $53,000. I don't think these two will be getting that sort of money on a Mundine undercard. They pay most of their undercard fighters in tickets. Not dollars.

 

I was under the impression that Mundine wasn't the promoter. At least according to boxrec anyway.
