Yea. Also, let's say that Bruce trains at Xtreme Couture, and started out learning BJJ at 5 years old. Let's say that Bruce had years of fighting experience and BJ Penn wouldn't be one of his first real fights. Let's also say that Bruce blah blah blah blah blah.

    Penn destroys the actor.

hey Penn destroys about everyone..Im just being objective here,..I have no hate whatsoever for Bruce..the guys brilliant..Its hard to compare when UFC didnt exist then. Chuck Norris who was I think a 5 time karate Champ said he cant beat Bruce..that has to count for something. Imagine an actor beating a real 5 time competition champ

But like I said BJs the best p4p

Chuck Norris also supported Mike Huckabee (I kid.)

Seriously though, Chuck Norris might not have been able to beat Bruce, but Chuck Norris sure as hell couldn't have beaten Penn either.

Also, I have NO IDEA how Chuck could have realistically made that assessment. I mean, it's just hero-worship. It's like saying that there is no way Fedor could beat a prime Jean Claude Van Damme. Haven't you seen the movies? When he kicks a guy, he launches him TEN FEET! UNREAL!

Norris will never worship anyone..Bruce probably authored the best MA book of all time..I have read alot of bare handed MA books and some have weaknesses ioncluding the latest by Penn, Bruces really have none. His concepts were way ahead of his time. His philosophy is timeless..the man knows what he is talking about

Ever wonder no one badmouths him?? even the Gracies who are brash dont dare..because MA in America or even the whole west owes alot to Bruce..he is respected..ask some MMA guys now like GSP and their Martial arts heroes

and as someone who studied martial arts listen to the lost interviews video ...he knows what hes talking about..Ive had a ton of senseis...all have nothing but good things to say about Bruce.

Everything you say is absolutely 100% true, and none of it means that he would stand a chance against Penn.

****ing ******s, Bruce Lee was an actor. Any fighter in the Octagon would have him tapping out.

Bruce Lee was a 5'4 asian who could act and dance BIG DEAL

BJ's ground game is far too good for Lee to handle with only 6 months trainning.

    That's all i know.

    Penn by quick submission.

The 6 months part wont work..I agree as good as Bruce was athletically. According to Joe Lewis who is badass, Bruce was moving into Thai Boxing before he died finding it most effective. The man was ahead of his time.

Even Dana White calls Bruce the father of MMA by envisioning well roundedness as the key to being the ultimate competition Martial Artist. Guys like Couture, Shamrock, Serra, Kenflo, even Sugar Ray Leonard, countless fighters respected Bruce...

trust me I cant beat any of these guys, maybe you guys can.
These are real fighters but they respected and idolized the "actor". Frankly if that actor was "fake" Id be embarrassed to respect him too much

Bruce Lee was a Legend and the creator of true MMA over 40 years ago, if BJ Penn was born in 1940 and grow up along side Bruce he would lose, if Bruce Lee grow up in 1980 with BJ Penn Bruce would win as he would be making new levels of understanding about martial arts, ever few generations a new level of understanding emerges from a single person, we have no Bruce Lee today.

And if men were women we'd all have vaginas.

If Bruce Lee grew up in 1980 he might have been a hairstylist instead of a martial artist. All of this "if this or if that" is a bunch of bull.

by that logic the inventor of boxing must be the best boxer ever?

theres a difference between understanding and applying..
