I thought Shamrock just had a good ground game, I didn`t know he was good at striking, but Joe Lewis who was considered a legendary kickboxer during the 60`s-70`s sparred with Lee and said Lee wouldn`t have been able to take a shot because of his thin neck and chin, he did credit Lee`s power however, I watched Lewis fight on youtube though and he didn`t look very good at all.
Ok...godd@mn...that never f@cking happened! Ever Are you a child? Where do you come up with this $hit?[/QUOTE] It might not have been in the UFC but it was certainly an MMA tournament and he was a karate champ of sorts, sorry about being so vague, but early UFC at that stage was crap anyway.

No. No it wouldn't. Ulka Sasaki is 5' 10'', and was still fighting in the UFC Flyweight division until very recently, when he left UFC.
It may have been behind a of martial arts that had evolved by `93 but Lee`s ideas were more evolved than the martial arts displayed at UFC `93 they were awful except Gracie.
Lee was very well conditioned. He had an eclectic approach to his training. It consisted of weight training, running, bag work (not very good) technique training and choreographed drills. He never really fought. An actor that was a master of self promotion. A good golden gloves boxer would clean his clock. He didn't want to fight. Fighters fight, they don't just train and talk theory. He had mastered the art of " fighting without fighting." In 10 matches against mediocre abilities he would lose 10. Frank Dux was pretty much discredited. Van Damn is a joke, as is Segall...just another blabber mouth. Separate issue, but find the old GQ issue on Segall....."Segall, Black Belt/ White lies. Interesting...he is a real piece of work.
