Castillo has lost to world class fighters Jorge Castro, Jean Marc Mormeck, Oleg Maskaev and Alexander Povetkin all by KO inside 4. He has beaten tough journeyman Robert Hawkins and recent Corrie Sanders conquerer Osborne Machimana. Bruce Seldon was KOd in 2 rounds by Tye Fields a few years back but has won two fight against bums since then.
Bruce Seldon may soon be going on Odlanier Solis record if he wins this. They tried to arrange a fight with Seldon last year so if he wins and Solis beats Botha easily then they may match Seldon with Solis to get another former champ on Odlaniers record.
Tough one to call but I'll go with Castillio being the more active of the two. If they would've fought when Seldon was in his prime I would pick Seldon by KO.
This is another set-up fight for Seldon. He knocks this guy out, but then goes on to get starched himself as soon as he faces a live body.
If he's fit to fight let him make a few bucks. Regardless of what has been written about Seldon and his exploits I believe that he is a good guy.
Problem with Seldon is, while he can clean up on tomato cans, you put him in with even a decent journeyman, and he's likely to get KOd. Seldon didn't exactly have a great chin in his prime, and I doubt it's gotten any better with age!
So the best route is to sell him as a name on the small venue/ballroom circuit against bottomfeeders. He can earn a few paychecks. Without boxing, these guys just spiral out of control. Seldon probably has more peace inside the ring than outside of it.
