I don't think Seldon can take Ingos punches and succumbs mid rounds. Thoughts?

Why would it take Ingo so long?

I think that Ingo's Bingo lands on Bruce Seldon's jaw early like it landed on Eddie Machen's jaw on Sept 14 1958, except instead of round 1, it would be round 3. Then Bruce Seldon would hit the canvas for the full ten count, seeing little Mike Tyson's dancing around his head.

The Atlantic City express was both strong and body beautiful. But he lacked heart, stamina and real skill or at least at an elite level. He wasn’t a bad fighter by any means but his chin and mental fortitude tended to fail him..

Ingemar Johansson wins. Exact verdict undecided.

He probably said it but it was probably tongue in cheek joke about Frazier still being in there after he'd battered him from pillar and post in the 14th.

Could Johannson take Seldon's punches is the million dollar question??

Ingemar took Eddie Machen's before Ingo took him out in round 1 in 1958, and Eddie was a lot better than Bruce.

Seldon kept his hands at his waist. Head straight up in the air. Brought his hands back to his waist after punching.
he's wide open for a right hand and even moreso against a guy with a sneaky right hand that does not telegraph. Early stoppage.

Thanks a lot, my friend , Eddie I felt had better skill than Bruce and I do not think Bruce could take Ingo's Bingo.

This. Seldon wad likely the most athletic of his era of boxing. He just wasn't a natural fighter and it show against tough opposition.
He did come thru in the Joe Hipp fight, showed some intestinal fortitude in that one. People forget he beat Tony Tucker and Greg Page.

He just embarrassed himself so badly vs Tyson. I think his worse loss was against Tye Fields though.

Problem is the righthand. Lands on Seldon and its over with.
Seldon was very athletic and looked good when things went his way.
But he had NO chin whatever and a KO puncher would always take him out.
