Sorry if it's been done before, but any particular torso workouts anyone could recommend to help prevent these, other than the regular crunches etc? I do boxing and kickboxing for fun. I love the sparring, but I definitely can't take it to the body, and bruised ribs is becoming a bit of a regular thing. I appreciate any tips ! Thanks
Ab work outs and smash your guts with a medicine ball. Your body will get the point not to get bruised anymore. Tip- Whatever you do, do not look up gut punching on youtube. or atleast be careful. its some homosexual pasttime.
Try to block or evade punches instead of taking them would be my advice. If you can't, move or roll with it.
