I read somewhere about talk of Dib v Yordan. I think the better matched fight would be against the undefeated Joel Brunker. I'd love to see both of them lock horns. Just my opion
And opinions is what where all about here mate. For me though, It would be a considerable jump in opposition for Brunker. He's relatively untested. Might be in over his head:think
Rock is on the button. Joel's a nice enough young kid, but not up to Yordan. Yordan would be Joel's only realistic chance to win a 'world title' vs. the current champs. He couldn't beat Salido (WBO) / Gonzalez (WBC) / John or Caballero (WBA Super and Regular) or Dib (IBF). Joel's just a nice young kid doing his best but in my opinion will come up short at the top grade. A vacant title opportunity perhaps like Dib was able to get should it present would also be his chance.
This fight has been offered but Joel's manager say's he is only interested in the big 4 belts. http://australianboxingforum.yuku.com/reply/91859/Joel-Brunker-Vs-Chris-John#reply-91859 Personally I think Brunker should fight him for the IBO belt if he is confident of winning.
Yordan by early stoppage also. Brunker still has a hell of a long way to go & fought no one remotely near the top 20-25 which is about where Yordan is at.
:good Nice work StiffJab mate, Gary "Site Fees" Shaw will get Brunker on at the Chumash Casino in the next year or so if he believes he can make something out of Brunker.
It will be interesting to see if Joel can handle himself in the States against the cross-section of fighters. If he faces slick African-American fighters in sparring, he won't know what hit him, he's too one-dimensional and they'll be way too slick for him and box his ears off.
