LL and Holy were the best out of all of these guys you mentioned and Vitaly gave LL all he could handle before the fight was stopped on cuts. All The other guys are in no way deserving of being considered opposition who "would've or could've" done anything but possibly land a lucky shot to end up beating either Klitchko brother.

One punch changes everything especially at this division but in terms of being proven and consistent none of those older fighters have a chance other than Lewis and that's based on his size and the fact he had the same trainer as Wald.

a prime Riddick who was in shape might have been an even bigger problem but he was never a fighter who trained like a professional athlete should to maximize his potential. He was a better fighter and boxer than Lewis.

Holyfield would always be a force in his prime but too small.....but.....he was the best boxer from a skills perspective. .

 

Keep going back to that poor, overtapped well. It's all you've got left.

Wlad hasn't lost since Friends was still filming new episodes and MySpace was cool.

 

Peter was as big a puncher as they come. Holyfield was more athletic but would have to work harder to get closer being as he wasn't as big a puncher. And let's be honest Brewster got lucky the first time and got railed the second. Something Purity and Sanders were lucky not to give a rematch to him because Klitschko got into a groove and honed in his style that has been beating everyone after those losses.

After every Klitschko fight a bunch of gloids go on some defamatory crusade. Kind of reminds me when Bert Sugar used to routinely claim that Vlad was basically the same level or even slightly below Primo Carnera.

Something about the Klitschkos seem to make people take leave of their senses.

I actually miss the claims that Tommy Morrison would have beaten Wlad or even Cooney or Quarry. Funny stuff...
