He got beat by Lennox, but how would he have coped against other Brits

    • Gary Mason
    • Herbie Hide
    • Henry Akinwande
    • James Oyebola
    • Scott Welch
    • Julius Francis
    • Danny Williams
    • Michael Sprott
    • Matt Skelton
    • Audley Harrison
    • Martin Rogan
I think he would have won all of them. The Herbie Hide who fought Bowe would have worried me though

I'd favour him over all them. Skelton might be able to wear him down and stop him late but Bruno would be miles ahead on the cards. Hide would get ko'd.

bruno beats all of them, and would be undisputed champ now, if only he came around 15 years later....

Doubtful the Klitchsko's could cause him trouble. Hayes speed could definately ask him a question or two.

Bruno beats them all and would pretty much destroy Haye.

Haye is yet to be tested at heavy, i think bruno would beat wlad, and a current vitali also, vitali of 5/6 yrs ago maybe not.

All haye would have on bruno is speed, and remember how big frank handled Tysons speed............ at 1st then rocked tyson for first time in his career, ( at the point when he was in his prime and imo would beat any heavyweight ever) so i feel Bruno would have enough to beat Haye.

Bruny would be bookies favourite to knock them all out. Any good jab or glancing blow would see off Hide.
Mason v Bruno would be the most interesting fight in my opinion.

I think that Herbie Hide would be even money to take Bruno.

I also think that a few of the others have a good shot to cause the upset.

Gary Mason: Bruno dominates with the jab battering Mason's face, and causing the ref to jump in after 5/6, but with Mason still on his feet. (Mason would suffer from a bit of sparring partner syndrome). Bruno TKO6

Herbie Hide: Bruno blasts Hide out inside two rounds, Herbie being unable to cope with the Bomber's sheer size. Bruno KO2

Henry Akinwande: Akinwande would be in survival mode and lose the first eight or so rounds, but as the fight goes on, Bruno would tire and Henry would start fancying his chances. Bruno probably holds on to take the comfortable 10 round decision, but the final two rounds would be real tough. Bruno WU10

James Oyebola: Big bad James [rip]would do well to survive six minutes with Bruno, he was simply not in his class. Bruno KO3

Scott Welch: I always figured Bruno would have trouble with Quarless, and Welch was similar to Noel; but still I think Bruno would be just too heavy handed and would have the job done by the fifth. Bruno TKO5

Julius Francis: Francis is another who would do well to here the bell for the second. Bruno KO2

Danny Williams: Williams would be intimidated by Bruno and although capable of giving Frank hell, I suspect he would just let Bruno win, being glad just to make it to the final bell. Bruno WU10

Michael Sprott: Sprott has a bit more to offer than Francis, but again is simply not in Bruno's league. Bruno TKO3

Matt Skelton: Skelton is very similar in style to Mason, he would of made a good sparring partner for Frank. The Bomber would dominate the early rounds and if Frank could dictate the pace of a fight his stamina issue is less of a problem. Bruno TKO8

Audley Harrison: Harrison would not be interested in fighting and would be on his bike. That might get him though a few rounds, but Bruno would catch him sooner or later: Bruno KO4

Martin Rogan: Rogan is a nice story, and pride might get him though a couple of rounds, but he has yet to show he is in Bruno's class: Bruno TKO5

I think a case could be made for mason doing quite well as he was head and shoulders above the rest of that bunch, Bruno would most likely beat him though. For all the criticism he gets, Bruno is easily Britain's best heavy since bugner, Lewis aside
