Awesome fight. And it will be a fight. Both guys get hurt before Bruno takes Cooney out. Could be a mirror of Rahman-Sanders. Winner gets 1989 Razor Ruddock in Canada!!!

Lol either you are troll or you are just clueless. Tyson was 5'10. 5'10 isn't a midget. Tyson also punched harder than Cooney. Lewis also punched harder than Cooney. Who did Cooney knock out in his career? A broken down old Ron Lyle and a old Ken Norton? Either Cooney wouldn't be able to knock out Bruno in the first round.

It is funny when people talk about Cooney's prime. He had no prime. He beat a washed up broken down Ron Lyle and beat a washed up broken down Ken Norton. Neither one of these things are impressive.

Cooney stops Bruno by the 10th at the latest!

My pick is Cooney, as he was too tall for Bruno to do his famous hold behind the head and hit tactics.

Good fight .I think Frank's jab would be the difference .busts up Cooneys fizog and keeps him at distance big right hand all over .could go the other way. a war

Bruno at his very best is able to dictate the fight with his jab. Cooney would be unable to put the pressure on, and if that is the case Bruno's stamina and stress issues would not be a factor. Eventually that booming jab would break down Gerry and The Bomber would finish things around the eighth.

Cooney early. That left body hook would fold Bruno in half.

I never really was impressed with Bruno. Cooney did have some skills and that left hook. Too bad that his handlers did not bring him along correctly and everything was about the "Great White Hope" stuff. I think he KOs Bruno in 3-4 rounds.
